Houses makes it to the ball game in Coney Island to cheer on our Brooklyn Cyclones.
Hey there! We just wrapped up this Show Open for the new reality show The Shed on Food Network. It’s about a BBQ and Blues joint down in Clear Springs Mississippi. Really fun show that will make you hungry just watching it. We handled everything from the editorial through design and animation. Set your DVRs and kick back with this fun crew on the bayou.
We just completed another job with MAC Cosmetics. With the help of our good friend Parthiban and his company, The Grid, we created a number of unique fluid simulations and combined them with live action fluids and motion graphics. The visuals played on MAC Cosmetics retail store video displays in multiple locations throughout the world, including the new MAC store on the Champs Elysees in Paris. Check out our work section to see how this video was displayed.
Houses makes it to Virginia for some good ol tent camping and hiking the A.T.!
Our pals over at Home Front Communications just brought us on for some logo removal on some speeding trains. There were quite a few shots with some odd angles that we had to tackle in just a few days. No problem for us though, we made sure those trains made it to their destination on time and looking better than when they left the station!
The Killer Speaks premiere’s tonight! 4/11 at 10pm on A&E. Houses in Motion conceptualized and created the graphics package for the much anticipated series. The show premise revolves around interviews of convicted murderers and people associated with the case. It is a psychological look into the mind of a killer as they get to tell their story first hand and explain what drove them to commit these horrific crimes.
Try to catch the show open in the beginning as this was the major element of content creation on our end. We will be posting a more in-depth look into the package in our Work section in the coming weeks, so check back soon.
It’s that time of year. The big college basketball tournament brought Houses some spots for LG. We were responsible for logo enhancement, tracking and compositing screens, logo animation, and lastly conform. There were also a few shots that needed some more involved vfx work. We had fun being a part of these spots, as we here at Houses like the tourney and had our brackets filled out with high hopes…and now, well, let’s just hope for a good final game.
Be on the look out for Sabra Hummus spots airing nationally, they have our endtag animation on them. Pretty simplistic approach but it’s still fun to see these spots airing on TV. In addition to the endtag animation we also did some composting and cleanup work as well as the conform for broadcast. Dip life to the fullest!
My lucky cousin got to spend a couple weeks in Mexico, a well deserved break from his owner/operated shop in Edison, WA, Slough Food. Before leaving for Mexico he managed to pack the Houses koozie, and clearly, was able to put it to good use! Nice work cousin.
Send us your pics with Houses koozies!
Happy 2013 everyone!! We just wanted to say we are looking forward to a new year with great projects and fun people. Hope everyone had a wonderful 2012 and is as psyched for 2013 as we are over here at Houses.
The image seen above is actually from an animation we did for NBC’s New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly. We were approached to design and animate a last minute show package for the live event held in Times Square on New Year’s Eve. With the tight turnaround we were able to deliver the graphics and still take some time off for the holidays, win win! Look for a more in depth showcase of the project in our Work section soon.
Cheers!
