Food Network approached us to quickly put together a Show Open for their new program, The Shed. The program follows a family who opened a BBQ stand in Cold Springs, Mississippi that has grown into a local staple with Blues music, good people, and great food.
Providing us with footage from a promo shoot, we edited together some of our favorite moments to tell the story of the BBQ joint and the family that runs it. Title cards, film grime, light leaks, texture overlays, jumpy editorial, composite shots, logo treatment, and color grading all combined bring this Show Open to life. The highly stylized editorial piece depicts the deep south along the Bayou and the “hot sauce” that keeps The Shed moving!
