Houses in Motion Fall Intern

The Fall Internship at Houses is a part-time opportunity for eager students to gain experience working in a professional production environment. We’re seeking one talented student who’s interests revolve around design and animation. The accepted applicant will work with the owner and fellow artists on active productions as well as internal assignments designed to challenge and inspire. In addition, the intern may contribute to pitch materials, production assistance, organizing assets, and other tasks that may be needed. Due to COVID restrictions, this internship will take place remotely.

Commitment & Compensation

This is a part-time internship running approximately 3 months beginning October of 2019. Exact start and end dates will depend on the selected individual. As a part-time intern, you’ll be working with us for 2-3 days per week. Hours range from 10am – 7pm. This part-time commitment will give you the freedom to pursue your schoolwork and other interests in and around our great city, which we feel is essential for developing your creative mind.

This is a paid internship, based on an hourly rate, with checks distributed twice a month.
Interns must provide their own housing and transportation.

Qualifications:

• Design experience using Photoshop, lllustrator, & InDesign
• Animation experience using After Effects and C4D
• Understanding of Typography, Color, & Composition
• Motivated and creative mindset
• Effective communication skills
• Friendly & outgoing personality
• Editorial, Illustration, Photography, or Fabrication skills a big plus!
• Social Media skills a big plus!
